I am currently practice out of downtown Colorado Springs, and coming soon I will also be offering counseling services in Woodland Park, Colorado.
In working with addiction, I am a big believer in the 12-step process. Groups and programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Nar-Anon, and Codependence Anonymous may be recommended in addition to the formal counseling I am providing. I am fairly familiar with these types resources available in the community of Colorado Springs, so I can usually really recommend particular meetings that are a good fit for most individuals.
Additionally, I am a huge proponent of my younger substance abusing clients utilizing a program called Phoenix Multisport. I will allow their website to speak for itself, but this outdoor minded group of recovering individuals is making a huge impact on the recovery community up and down the Front Range of Colorado.
Finally many significant issues with mental health or with addiction issues affect not only the individual, but these matters can really affect families as well. This is why I offer such a wide variety of family services. I am known to say “Addiction is a family disease”, and I taylor my counseling practice to match this belief.
To discuss your needs, please contact us to schedule a call. I also offer a free half-hour consultation, so there is no risk to you in determining if I am the right fit for you and/or your family.
